Banks are an important part of the game. If you carry too much gold on your person, you will become encumbered and eventually will be unable to move. This is what banks are for. You also need a bank account to participate in certain events like auctions. Use 'bank deposit' to deposit money and 'bank withdraw' to take out money. Once you deposit money in a bank, it is safe, and cannot be taken off your person if you are CPK'ed. Currently interest works opposite of what you'd expect. Low interest is better since banks will charge you less when you withdraw or transfer money. Listed here are all the banks in Alyria, including their interest rate in small text.
